I just wanted to give you an update on Eryn who has type 1
diabetes. When we started diabeticine her 15 and 30 day blood sugar avg. was
150. Her insulin amounts were 10 units total per day: 4nph and 1h in the morning
and 4nph and 1h in the evening. About ten to 12 days ago I had to start reducing
the insulin amounts....I am happy to see these results. I keep having to drop
her amounts of insulin. Last night she had 1Nph at dinner and that's
it.
She isn't taking the humalog anymore and this morning I gave her
1nph. I plan on reducing her evening nph to 1/2 units since this morning she was
